Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 Quick Start Workshop 18/04/2005

Another successful Microsoft Windows CE5.0 hands-on workshop, was held on the 27th April 2005.
The seminars are staged in conjunction with Abacus Polar, at their offices in Newbury.
The intensive 1 day Windows CE 5.0 'Quick Start' workshops are hands-on seminars covering all the topics necessary to get up and running with your Windows CE project, including:

• CE OS Architecture
• Creating OS Designs with Platform Builder
• New features in CE 5
• OS / application debugging

Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 Quick Start Workshop 02/11/2004

Following the success of our very popular Microsoft Windows XP Embedded seminars, we held our brand new Windows CE 5.0 hands-on workshop on 10th November 2004.

The seminars are staged in conjunction with Abacus Polar, and the first one was held at Abacus's offices in Newbury.

Windows Embedded boom at MPC Data 27/09/2004

Back in June we reported in Microsoft's InfoBlast mailing that Windows CE was becoming the operating system of choice for many aspects of patient monitoring, data collection and analysis in medical systems. (See Medical sector booming for Windows CE for the full article.)

It's now beginning to look like this was just the tip of the iceberg! Since June we have seen unprecedented levels of product development activity based on both Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded. Fuelled by the launch of Windows CE 5.0, in the last month alone we have started work on six new Windows CE projects. In the same time frame we have also secured two new Windows XP Embedded projects.

Target markets span security, retail and industrial control as well as medical.
