Meet MPC Data at ESC Silicon Valley

MPC Data will be demonstrating a selection of our Windows Embedded BSPs and custom product developments for the first time ever at ESC Silicon Valley (also known as ESC West) exhibition this year. ESC Silicon Valley conference runs from 30th March to 2nd April 2009, and the exhibition arena is open from 31st March. You can find us on the Microsoft stand (#616) in the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, where we will be exhibiting a range of our latest innovative projects including:

  • The latest release of our Windows CE 6r2 board support package for the Texas Instruments DM355 DaVinci Evaluation Module (DVEVM). We will be demonstrating real-time D1 video compression and decompression on this low-cost platform, which is particularly suited to portable digital video devices, including cameras, photo-frames and video security systems.
  • Microsoft Auto running on a Texas Instruments Jacinto 2 reference board. The Jacinto 2 is specifically targeted at in-car infotainment devices, and in combination with Microsoft Auto it offers a low-cost, feature-rich platform for automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Windows Embedded Standard running on a very small, low-power SBC. Windows Embedded Standard is the latest release of Windows XP Embedded, and offers all of the features and capability of Microsoft’s XP Pro desktop operating system in a format specifically targeted at embedded devices. We will be demonstrating some of the advantages that Windows Embedded Standard offers for embedded devices, compared to Windows XP Pro.

MPC Data exhibits at Texas Instruments Developers Conference 2008

MPC Data will be exhibiting at the Texas Instruments Developers Conference 2008 in Dallas, 26-28 February to be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. On our stand no. 321 we will be exhibiting both our new Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6 R2 BSP and our Open Source Linux Kernel and BSP for the DaVinci DM355 EVM. Visit us on our stand to find out more about our full range of exciting developments for the DaVinci and OMAP processors.

ESS 07 The Embedded Systems ShowMPC Data will be exhibiting at ESS 2007 (17/18th October, NEC Birmingham), the UK’s largest event for system engineers and embedded software developers.
