MPC Data's 'Jumpstart' for Windows Embedded CE 6.0 or Windows Embedded Compact 7 offers a combination of training and consultancy delivered by MPC Data. MPC Data are a Microsoft-approved training company and Gold-level Windows Embedded Systems Integrator.

Days 4 to 5

Topics covered in days 4 and 5 can be taylored to meet the individuals and companies needs for specific project requirements. In these two days any or all of the following topics can be covered:

Project Management and Procedures
Initial hardware bring-up
Configuring, modifying and deploying EBOOT
Modifying and debugging OAL
Creating minimal CE Kernel
Advanced development and debugging techniques
Testing with Windows Embedded Compact Test Ket (CETK)

Prerequisites: This course is intended for those that have a basic understanding of the C programming language and embedded systems. Although not necessary it would be useful to have a knowledge of Win32 API programming and device driver development.

Duration: This is a 5 day event incorporating tailored training and consultancy

Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 (Evaluation Toolkit)
or Windows Embedded Compact 7 (Evaluation Toolkit)
Adobe Acrobat Viewer
Windows XP Professional SP3, Windows Vista or Windows 7
Minimum Pentium 4 2GHz CPU (the faster the better)
Minimum 1GB RAM
Minimum 20GB Hard Disk Space free (for Tools Installation)
Network Adapter
Site Facilities: Projector (native resolution of 1024x768 or better), Whiteboard, Internet Access for Instructor and Student PCs.
