MPC Data at Embedded World 2010 01/02/2010

MPC Data will be exhibiting at Embedded World 2010 in Nuremberg from 2^nd – 4^th March, where you will find us on the Microsoft stand in Hall 11.0, Stand no. 11-226. We will be exhibiting a range of our latest innovative projects including:

• The latest release of our Windows Embedded CE 6r3 board support package for the Texas Instruments DM355 DaVinci Evaluation Module (DVEVM). We will also be showing our “Barnacle Board” TFT display and touch-screen add-on for the DM355 DVEVM, and demonstrating Microsoft’s embedded SilverLight technology running on this low-cost processing platform.
• A Smart Building proof-of-concept running under Windows Embedded Standard on a very small form-factor Intel Atom platform. Off-the-shelf Zigbee modules are used for communication with remote sensors and actuators, leading to a very robust but low-cost design. Wide area communication is via GPS or GPRS for secure remote control and alarm reporting.
• Microsoft Auto running on a Texas Instruments Jacinto 2 reference board. The Jacinto 2 is specifically targeted at in-car infotainment devices, and in combination with Microsoft Auto it offers a low-cost, feature-rich platform for automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

Visitors to the show will also be able to see another of MPC Data’s Windows Embedded CE reference BSPs on the Texas Instruments stand in Hall 12 (Stand 12-436). This new reference BSP brings Windows CE to the latest generation of OMAP silicon from TI, for a world-beating combination of low power consumption, low cost, and rich operating system support.

Visit the home of ARM in Cambridge to get in depth training on the innovative capabilities of a range of Freescale i.MX products, including yet to be announced devices.

The i.MX515 multimedia is an example of the applications processors we will be discussing. The i.MX515 offers high performance processing optimized for the lowest power consumption for smartbooks, netbooks and other media rich applications.

MPC Data exhibits at Texas Instruments Developers Conference 2008 22/02/2008

MPC Data will be exhibiting at the Texas Instruments Developers Conference 2008 in Dallas, 26-28 February to be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. On our stand no. 321 we will be exhibiting both our new Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6 R2 BSP and our Open Source Linux Kernel and BSP for the DaVinci DM355 EVM.
