The Crank™ Storyboard™ Suite was architected for engineers by engineers. Storyboard allows UI designers, with no programming experience, to drag-and-drop their UI designs and do this in parallel with, yet independently from, the engineers who are working on the coding. Crank Software Storyboard Suite

Storyboard Designer is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux allowing all development team members to work in an environment they are comfortable and familiar with. This speeds up time to market as there is no learning curve for the team members moving to a new OS platform.

Storyboard is a suite of UI development optimization solutions for developers of consumer electronics, automotive infotainment devices, and industrial devices that require an embedded dynamic graphical display screen. There are two modules:

Crank Storyboard Designer enables UI designers to leverage their core expertise to easily prototype the look and feel of a UI, run simulations of the interface to validate the designs, and then move the prototype directly to the embedded device for deployment.
Crank Storyboard Embedded Engine is the runtime component of Storyboard that drives the content developed in Designer on embedded devices.

Crank are planning on releasing OpenGL ES support for WinCE and Compact 7 in the next version of Storyboard 1.3, but if you are interested in early access via a beta just drop us a note.
