OLED Display Touch-screen Expansion Board for the Texas Instruments DM355 EVM

The DM355 'Barnacle' Board is a display adaptor that plugs directly onto a Spectrum Digital TMS320DM355 Evaluation Module (EVM) available from Texas Instruments.

• A 3.4” Widescreen 480x272 OLED display (CMEL P0340WQL series) with touch screen
• 5 User keyswitches. 
  
• Parallel interface to the DM355 for video data, this can be set up for 16 bit parallel RGB565 or 18 bit parallel RGB666 transfers.

An SPI interface is used for control of the OLED and the touch screen/keypad controller.
WinCE & Linux drivers are available for this board. The Microsoft Windows CE6.0 drivers are integrated into the Windows CE6.0 R3 BSP* for the DM355EVM available from MPC Data.

* A free evaluation binary for the DM355 CE6.0 BSP which incorporates the Barnacle touch, button and display support is available on request.

 A full user guide for the 'Barnacle' Add-on board is available which details the installation and configuration options for use with the Texas Instruments DaVinci DM355 EVM.

Please Note:  The Barnacle Board is only supported for use with the TI DM355 EVM hardware  - Not Supplied.
