MPC Data is a privately owned company, focussed on providing Embedded Services and Product to device OEMs, semiconductor companies and high performance embedded application developers.

Since 1984, we have grown to be a 50 strong team with offices in North America and Europe. We offer services in software and hardware engineering from proof of concept to volume production, with a strong emphasis on embedded and real-time developments. With many years of experience in Windows Embedded, Embedded Linux and RTOSs, and thanks to its close partnerships with Microsoft and leading semiconductor vendors, MPC Data is the key partner for OEMs, offering consultation, software & hardware design, integration services, products and training.

The company is structured in 3 groups;

The Windows Embedded Group, dedicated to providing Windows CE, Windows XPe/WES, MS Auto, Windows Mobile and .net Microsoft Framework expertise. MPC Data has been a Microsoft Embedded Gold Partner since 2004, and has completed numerous Windows Embedded projects across a broad range of applications and markets
The Embedded Linux Group, with experience in Linux and other Unix-like software projects that spans two decades and include many successful projects. This makes us uniquely qualified to advise on the challenges associated with building products from open source components including IP protection & licensing advice. We work with both ‘commercial grade’ and secure Linux variants, as well as being strong contributors to the open source community.
The Embedded Solutions Group offers complete solutions based on industry recognised real time operating systems such as QNX, VxWorks, and µItron. We provide BSP porting, Device Driver creation and integration, codecs for TI DaVinci and OMAP based designs, as well as complete custom application specification implementation and deployment. In addition, this group has an excellent track record in medical, healthcare and safety critical software design and development.

We have specific, in depth market expertise in Automotive/Telematics, mobile computing including PDAs and phones, consumer electronics, medical, life-sciences and heathcare products, industrial control, building management and access, and retail systems.

To complement the Professional Engineering Services that MPC Data provide to our customers, we also offer a range of Board Support Packages, embedded software and hardware tools as well as fixed-price training and packaged consultancy services.
