A leading medical equipment supplier awards MPC Data a contract to co-develop a safety critical product based on an Atmel Mega micro controller. MPC Data is responsible for design, implementation and testing the firmware, which will be written to a strict coding standard based on MISRA C.
MPC Data presented a seminar on Windows CE.Net development during this years Computers in Manufacturing exhibition at the NEC. Titled 'Experiences in Windows CE .Net', the presentation was given by one of our team of CE.Net development specialists and gave some insight into the porting and customisation of Windows CE.Net. The presentation drew on personnel experiences of development work undertaken by MPC Data and attempted to put the operating system into context with Microsoft's other Windows platforms.

Atmel's specialist UK design-in distributor, GD Technik, hosted an Atmel AT91 design seminar on Tuesday 24th September 2002. The AT91 microcontroller is one of the most popular 32-bit ARM-based processors, and the seminar provided an excellent opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge accumulated by some of the industry's leading ARM experts.
Presenters included Atmel, GD-Technik, IAR, and of course, MPC Data. A paper entitled "MPC Data, Atmel and you - the perfect partnership" was written and presented by one of our Senior Software Engineers, and was by all accounts very well received.
