MPC Data's well-established IrDA stack is now available for the Mitsubishi M16 family of microcontrollers.
Our IrDA software implements the IrLAP, IrLMP and IrCOMM '3 wire raw' layers of the IrDA 1.0 specification, and can act as either primary or secondary device in an IrDA connection. It has been tested for compatibility with a wide range of devices, including the Microsoft Windows 95/98 drivers, and Hewlett Packard Laserjet printers.
On most members of the M16 family the IrDA stack fits comfortably into on-chip flash memory and RAM, resulting in a very low part-count solution.
A choice of licensing models is available: for further details contact
