MPC Data will be presenting and exhibiting at the Renesas Developer Conference (DevCon) taking place at the Hyatt Regency, Orange County, CA, during October 11-14 (Monday-Thursday)
We will be presenting a technical lab looking at how to get Linux to boot to a QT application on an SH7724 in around 1 second, by applying MPC Data’s swiftBoot process. We will have a demonstration that shows what can be achieved using the process, and we can discuss how this could be applied to other SH based solutions. This will be shown on the Renesas EDOSK7724 board booting to a QT application and camera display.
We will also be exhibiting a range of our latest innovative Renesas projects, products and services including:
Visitors to the DevCon will also be able to get more information about MPC Data’s services around Renesas products. MPC Data’s position as a Renesas Platinum Partner enables us to offer a complete service for creating high-end electronic products.
We have been working with Renesas processors for 20 years and have a wealth of experience to help clients get products to market quickly, safely and cost effectively.

When combined with Windows CE, the OMAP-L and Sitara CPU families from Texas Instruments offer a very flexible basis for a wide range of embedded device requirements. MPC Data is pleased to announce a free webinar on 15th September 2010 which will outline the benefits of this world-class combination of technologies.
In one hour, the webinar will provide an overview of Windows CE 6.0r3, a brief look at the OMAP-L and Sitara ranges of CPUs from TI, and how these can be easily combined to create market-leading devices using the free Windows CE BSPs developed for TI by MPC Data.
Who should attend? this webinar will be valuable to both engineers and business decision makers who are evaluating platforms for next-generation embedded devices.
The webinar will run twice, at 4pm BST (5pm CET) for European attendees, and at 4pm PDT for American attendees.
